Holiday Hack 2023 starts us out on a boat as seen above. Looks like this year Santa has decided to leave behind the cold winters of the North Pole and instead finds himself in the sunny, warm Goose Islands.
Orientation begins with our first elf, Jingle Ringford.
Talking to him he introduces us to the challenge. Before we can begin the competition he has a few tasks for us. He gives us the badge, explains how to use it and then gives us a fishing pole. This will come up later in the challenge for a bonus task.
Lastly before we leave he introduces us to the Cranberry Pi Terminal
These terminals will be used in later tasks throughout the event. For this one we just need to click the top section and type answer. As we finish up here Jingle gives us our next location of Frosty’s Beach to sail to and so we depart on our ship to find our next task.
